I saw a clear push from Sharp - forearm to the back practically. It didn't work in her favor (it may have actually helped Lipsey) but she lost her cool and deserved the DQ.

My upgrade is 20 more and I upgraded it at 3:05 pm eastern time and still no track meet. This sucks!

She's nothing compared to Asbel Kiprop.
Uh -- no. There is no requirement that the leading runner has to run a straight line. They can weave all over the track and use any lane they wish. It's not smart to do so, but there's no "straight line" requirement. The leading runner also can't impede a trailing runner. It's up to the trailing runner to avoid the leading runner by going around them.

He made it!
wow, who would have thought Gregorek is the only American in the final!
I stand corrected. Saved it for the last 150m and looked very good. He could have positioned himself a bit better going into the last 400m though.
Yep I don't get it. And if anything it shoved Lipsey forward and slowed Sharp down. It didn't affect Lipsey's final position...
wtf happened to kwemoi at these champs

There should be a blocking rule, in Motorsports you're allowed one move, second move is considered a block.
GREGOREK!!!!!
C'mon. I see your point but if there's a runner ahead of you in lane 1, you're allowed to move out to lane 2.

Also a block should just result in giving up the position. I'm tired of this all or nothing DQ crap.

And I'll admit as i was typing our notes with 300 to go , I wrote, "Gregorek in back getting smoked."
300 meters later he's in the final.
12th at1200, 9th at 1400 and 7th at the finish.
He did almost exactly the same thing at USAs. Everyone else seems to kick too early.
Great job.

She bumped a woman that didn't hold her line and ran in front of her? What do you want her to do? Finish in lane 4?
What is the rule?
Here is the rule book. Someone find it.
