NBCSN is tape delaying it due to the opening day of the English Premier League. It will be broadcast at 11 pm EST, 8pm PST. It is live on the Olympic Channel, but I didn't subscribe to that so I am waiting for the tape delay tonight. Live feeds, see prior posts.
I hope the announcer do no over hype the sweep bullsh!t. Thenno matter how swell the US Women do it swill sound like a loss if they do not sweep.
Just think a gold In WR time with a a silver in the second best time of all time and a PB in fourth and it will be a viewed as a Failure by a casual fan.
Semenya looks like she is jogging as the others are straining all out
Ajee contoled 1st heat with ease with Bishop on her shoulder the whole way. Semena easily in the 2nd heat with Lipsey looking like a small q in 3rd. Tianna & Brittney better get the sand out of their shoes or they'll have to share a bronze between them.
Pearson looking like her 2012 form.
Ajee looks like she can break up the Triumvarate.
Cichocka making the most o her Kszchot-like strategy
Bit of drama at the end of that 800m heat Semenya and Cichocka take the auto places ahead of Sharp and Lipsey.
After originally announcing her as Büchel, NBC proceeded to mispronounce angelika cichocka's name in 3 different ways. Really unprofessional, but what do you expect with these commentators

There are no casual track fans. No one just happens to watch this by flipping through the channels.
Anyone know why Sharp was DQed?

Sharp DQ'd for the shove of Lipsey at the end

More drama, Sharp DQ for impeding Lipsey!
Thanks so much for this link, excellent coverage.
Wambui and Niyonsaba in heat 3 with BMart
Question, is there anywhere to see live field event updates? Just results. I can't seem to find it on the iaaf results page.

God Bless You
Sharpe may lose the other small q as she shoulders Lipsey just before the line in heat 2

THat's crazy! I thought Lispsey impeded Sharp by drifting out. It was also a bad move by Lipsey because it let Cichocka through.

Up top near the left it says "live"
Go there and select the event of your choice
Bogus call on Sharpe- didn't impede and incidental. Should be appealed.
