I'm impressed that most of the prelims in the 800m are being run at an honest pace as well. Seems to be happening in most of the distance races.
May be down to the cool weather.

She was reported to be ill on twitter last night.
Didn't she cause a fuss by also missing Kenya's training camp? Bad luck over the past couple of months.....?????
Tell a lie. Looks like they changed it.
Looking like 3 Americans to the semis in the 800.
Two Canadians DFL in their heats (#sad)
Yeah. Maybe Bishop can make up for it with a gold!

Yes, great weather for MD on up. ...not so much for sprinting.
I feel bad for a lot of sprinters.
the 200s are going to be interesting.
Heat 1 of the 1500 is stacked
Martinez through with 5th fastest loser
Should be a great triple jump final. Taylor WR? Will Claye may push him to it. The fight between those 2 may make this competition reminiscent of the 1991 long jump final.
Anyone got an online mobile link to watch the 1500's in the USA? I'm a sucker at work.
American Brenda Martinez got the next to last time qualifier . 2:01.73 got you in to the final

Slow start in the first heat, doesn't look like there will be time qualifiers. Some very good runners will not advance.
Yeah, The Iaaf really need to take a p[age from swimming a circle seed these heats.
Currently we keep seeing one or 2 really stacked heats, and then several very weak ones. If qualification was based on time, this wouldn't be a problem, but since it's based n place for the most part, it screws over a lot of athletes. Circle seeding is when you take all the seeds and distribute them based on place in the ranking. So the fastest seed will be in the last heat, the second fastest in the second to last, and so on. So if you have 32 athletes, the heats will look like
Heat 1
4th seed
8th seed
12th seed
16th seed
20th seed
24th seed
28th seed
32th seed
Heat 2

Heat 3

6th seed
10th seed
14th seed
18th seed
22nd seed
26th seed
30th seed
Heat 4

5th seed
9th seed

17th seed

Predicting now: Josh Kerr silver.

Zero chance he gets out of the first round.
Centro's tactic didn't quit work.
This heat got rough. Centrowitz last!

Centro DFL?
