Tactics are overrated. He got the slow pace he wanted, and he was awful down the stretch, your mama could have beaten him. Just not good enough.
I do agree that the only way to beat Mo is to go crazy fast early on. Try to run 12:40 and see what he does. But easier said than done, and everybody hopes the next guy will do that and not him, so I figure another tactical race and Mo victory. These African guys really should collude, "You go all out on this one and fade, I will sacrifice next race." But they don't and they lose and lose and lose and lose because all these "tactics" of varying pace in the mid-race mean absolutely, positively nothing.
