I have run in excess of 140 for many of my racing years. I still come to those levels a few times a year. The difference now is I do it for pure enjoyment. It isn't all that difficult. When getting my car worked on drop it off and run home run back to pick it up. Family outings leave two or three hours before the one hour drive. Have your spouse pick you up on the way. While working in California I used to drive my motorcycle to work on Sunday night, then run home. On Monday run to work and drive home. Tuesday drive to work and run home, etc it was about 15 miles each way. It is easy to fit the running it. It just becomes a matter of if you want to. Now if this is the best way to train is a totally different matter.
