This heat running into the same problem. No one can string it out. Everyone is close in ability and bunching up as the finish gets closer.

Some serious pushing and shoving going on with Chelimo there - I thought he was going to go down.

More like a bar room brawl this
Hill is not showing up in the online splits posted by the IAAF. Did he DNS? Or is there just something wrong with his chip?

He's running
Chelimo looks to be suffering.
Darn it, Jenkins..
Mo Ahmed has had a clean run. Hill too.
Chelimo books it to catch back up to the front of the pack. Could prove costly. He should have been a bit more patient in rejoining the pack
Looks like they've just thrown him in as an extra person in the semis. Gets the great lane 1 assignment. A nice FU from IAAF.
Chelimo fell, He got right back up. Shouldn't be to bad because it's a heat, but still, this is a rough heat. On the replay it looked like he was looking up at the screen and tripped while not paying attention. I guess that's why the Kenyans an Ethopians run looking down and their feet, it must be a habit formed by those huge packs in their long runs.
The Kenyans know they can't beat him with their legs.
Some of you are a bit precious. It's just a bit of rain.
We might have a second year in a row where no one makes the final for Kenya
Menjo from Kenya is off the pack at 4k. Will they only have 1 guy in the final?
chelimo will qualify. 5 extras will come from this heat
If ryan hill ever stayed near the front, he could actually win a race
