What's the actual rule? I thought it was two consecutive steps.

Looked like she stepped on the line on the straight portion of the waterjump. Something similar to Evan yesterday so likely can win an appeal.

Funny how this steeple DQ thing was never a thing until last year....Don't forget Mo Farah ran inside the curb on the last lap of the 10k.
He was knocked off balance and if anything lost momentum. Clearly not a rule violation. -

What he did wasn't illegal. -
Bahrain athletics programmes going well.

Will she go home devastated? Or will she win her appeal and be BACK BABY!!!?
-
Frerichs running smart.
-
I thought the iaaf job was to keep the athletes from getting sick so why are they running in the rain, looking sexy and stuff..
-
Jager's hair is so lustrous!
-
2nd 3000 WC heat went out crazy fast? 3:02 1st km for the winner? WHY?
-
Flotrack has a picture of her running on the white-line at the curve after the water pit :-(

it's just such a stupid rule. I get they don't want people running less than 3k but common sense people. If there is a touch foul on an uncatchable pass, you don't call it.
ABSURD. Iv'e said this before. The way the rule book is written, technically, you could DQ someone for impeding someone on lap 1 of the 10k. -
What is Jager doing, why is he running in the women's race
-
Please stop calling Chespol a junior.
-
Why don't they just make a rail for that segment if it's going to be an issue at major meets? It wouldn't be the most ridiculous thing they spend money on...
-
wtf would you build an olympic-class stadium in the middle of London and not make it with a roof of some kind?
did they somehow think, "oh England, we won't get any interference from weather..." ??? -
