If he had not returned 15 minutes on a return run, I would say it was an assassination attempt.

Let's guess his 5k time. I say 22:30.

The woman is lucky, not only is she very unathletic but the bus driver and the jogger had quick reflexes. Big win for her.
Athletic or not I would have chased him down! What a jerk!

That looked like it was on purpose. What a douchebag.
Is it easier to get out of the way as a runner or a walker?
btw the brits didn't let makwala run so the uk bookies didn't have another situation like the 100m.
The British police is too busy covering up Muslim gangs mass raping little kids!

He must be Britain's answer to Mike Rossi.
Hey, that's Bad Wigins!
That looks SO intentional. Looking at his foot and leg position, it literally looks like he is he one turning toward her to shove her out of the way. Because otherwise he clearly had a lot of room on the other side of him to take a step and avoid her!

Been using Strava segments to look for runs on May 5, 2017 that cross the bridge. Not much luck so far
It's not a raised section, it's the unshadowed section. The woman is walking right down the middle of the sidewalk, not the left side.

This runner must do this often. Notice how the guy is walking on that raised section giving a wide berth. It looks like he knows what's coming because as soon as the runner passes him, he drops back down to the sidewalk. He probably got pushed last week and learned his lesson.
Seriously though, I hope they catch him and prosecute accordingly. That was awful to see him lay that woman out like that.
Ahem, he is running right down the middle of the pavement that is some three-metres wide. She is moving towards the kerb. He moves from centre towards the kerb and rotates his upper body as he strikes her. The bloke likely play rugby because that was a standard knockdown hit.

40 to 50 year old male heavy set with gray hair. Witnesses say his demeanor is typical of upper middle class males: entitled, smug, oblivious, unscrupulous.
Judging from his appearance this rotund hobby jogger is likely to be found frequenting local running stores for their weekly group runs. Or visiting said establishment to pester employees about new shoes and asking these same unqualified employees inane questions about aches and pains and what shoe might fix them.
Have they talked to Mekhissi about where he was on the day?
Is this one of those things that goes away after a couple days? This is worse than that bike thing a few weeks back! That dude was a first time rider and full time moron. This jogger looks like he's out there on a regular basis. HIDE THE KIDS!
So, after reading the headline - and maybe seeing a screen shot (not sure) I was surprised when I read this story that the jogger was male. Not trying to make any point. Just calling myself out I guess - for some reason I thought this would be a female jogger. No real reason to have thought that - just interesting. Not necessarily proud of that
So this happened in May 5 and the police are just now releasing the video to search for tips on the joggers identity?
June
July
August
Hmmm
Either not too interested or the 2 month stakeout didn't pan out.
What/who are they hiding?
Is there a Scotland Yard Hobbyhogger department?

That's natural. Caster has changed our gender prejudices.
DQ?
this is classic "disgruntled runner tired of people on the wrong side of the sidewalk" behavior. finally decides to hold his ground and not give an eff. hence why he didn't turn around after hitting her hard. amazing bus driver reaction.
i hope this dude gets hit by a bus and loses his legs
