Watch this video ... This guy is creeping me out , why can't hs coaches just chill a bit and let kids not burn out when they get to college... Thoughts?

Watch the CBA video then come back.
Unless they are the next Ches or Justyn Knight or whatever....who cares? It would probably behoove them honestly to "burnout" and focus on being students in college if they are just going to be mid-pack filler. The majority probably wont run seriously in college anyway.
lots of them CBA boys run in college but fail to improve. I'm aware that Boyle and Gorman were good but besides that ehhh. Rather be good in high school but great in college.

Wow he does not come across well. sounds like a typical football coach who is thrown into coaching distance. May know his stuff but that was painful.

x1000 & this is going on decades. Be interesting to see an alumni race between CBA and various other NJ programs and see who's even still running 5-10-15 years down the line... and that after not-stellar college careers.
Meh. Not my style but I don't see anything egregious. Just a typical wannabe coach who doesn't understand running that well but at least is giving the effort. I've seen worse...MUCH worse.
Wannabe??
what he is saying is fine (might be a bit much and all) but I think it is the music that is making it weird
Great Coach and Teacher- echos many other high school coaches- most just talk training and not character development- good video
1. Why so many Indians?
2. He seems a little chubby to be preaching the "disciplined life"?
3. Basic values are good, of course, but I can't stand guys who are always talking at you. The best leaders talk less.
Just checked the school out too- Alumni have been very successful in college- Leung, Kellner at Cornell, Bason and seems like coach has had success- if that's a wannabe coach I have no hope

I have no clue as to why a group 4 Public school has more Indians than whites. I saw like 3 white dudes in the video.
My thoughts are that you're a pathetic douche who blames your coach for your failures. Buck up pu$$y
Haha...Wayton. NO ONE CAN DO it BETTER...at least in his eyes. He and his brother are bullies and pieces of $hit.
I have been told that A$$ bag Kurt has been forced out of coaching....
I can only imagine what he said or did to get the boot. His arrogance is sickening and I’m hoping that Karma has caught up to him.
"I can only imagine what he said or did to get the boot"
He said "I'd like to retire" and then he did 'retire'.
West Windsor/Plainsboro is about 45% Asian. The mayor of West Windsor is indian. Super educated, wealthy community and excellent school system. I Suspect the schools have an even higher percentage of Asians/Indians.
New Jersey is not Utah...in more ways than one!
Killing time, watched both the wwps and CBA videos.
Then looked at
http://tullyrunners.com/XC2018/NewJerseyMOC2018.htm
the CBA vid has higher production value, and is waaay more over the top than some overweight middle aged guy talking. The wwps vid seemed tame. He was just talking about keeping commitments.
CBA obviously gets to, needs to "recruit" kids to their school. Nothing wrong with that or their video.
The results for wwps seem decent? Looks like they were 3rd in NJ MOC?
So OP, doesn't look that bad from down here in VA. Do you have an issue with WWPS XC?
We're in northern NJ and run against them in post season. I think there program is fine and the kids enjoy it. So what if the coach weighs a bit. Come back in 20 years and see if you chunk up
