It is better than watching prelims of sprint races.

r may as well have an op. to cut off her arms-as she does not use them at all! They just hang there. Asian thing as some Chinese elites also run like that.
She's saving them for the sprint.
Can`t get over the Jap. style, no arm movement, exactly how coaches in most countries tell you not to run like that!

Thank you Chill. Are you Ethiopian, because I have some questions, later. Thanks.
Nope. I just thought she looked otherwise quite skinny, and as a woman am familiar with pregnancy changes. A quick google confirmed my suspicions.
She looks absolutely ridiculous.

Dixon starting to look a bit toasted. I'd say 10-15 minutes and they overtake her.
Wonder what happens when Kiyota starts using her arms.
Those tan lines of the leader look ridiculous.
How embarrassing, to look like that in a world champs race and not only that but in front.

Except Cragg is exactly the same
Dixon is strong and efficient, and good power to weight ratio -almost a gymnast's body type. Women with much slower 10k times can mix it up with Kenyan women, with 2 mins quicker pb's over 10k. You don't see that with the men. Kirui and Tola are both sub.27 runners.
Dixon 1:14:21, peloton 1:14:51.
Hahaha there's actually TWO Japanese runners that don't use their arms

Ah, yes, so embarrassing. I'm sure her tan lines are what she cares about at this point, while in the front in a WC marathon.
Is there another Japanese chick not using her arms?! WTF is going on over there? Who is teaching them this "technique?"
Kenyan women, mid foot, forefoot, Japanese-heel strikers, flagrant style difference.

That's why she's leading. Trying to get out of there as fast as possible.
Half?

Why would someone do that, to get the adverse attention?
1:14:21, told that already.
The number of athletes running red lights during these two marathons has been sickening. Being an elite athlete doesn't make you above the law.
Dixon went to the tanning salon in Font Romeu, to make sure she would be A1, aesthetically, for this race. Brit women love tans -cultural.
