dude what time is the 100m final?
In about 15 min.
thanks bro
All it takes from Bolt to win is a great start, but that's the problem as we haven't seen it.
Bolt shut down with 20 meters to go, but Coleman only 10 meters to go. Bolt looked like he was trying really hard mid-race, but the rate at which he was hawking down Bolt was scary.
Same with Gatlin last year. He had the lead for a good 85-90 meters, but Bolt's charge is too good. Coleman's start is always great so you can bank on that but if he doesn't have a 5 meter lead at the halfway point, Bolt wins. I'm not saying Coleman won't, but if he doesn't, Bolt will hawk him down.
Regardless, there won't be any messing around for Bolt this year. He will have to do a full lean into the finish line. It will come down to the tape.
And don't forget Gatlin.
Forget Gatlin. He's washed.
This is a three man race. Bolt, Coleman, Blake.
Jesus Coleman has a fast start. To me it looked like Coleman eased up more at the end too. I still think bolt will win but I definitely won't be surprised to see him lose. At this point he seems pretty lucky that DeGrasse isn't running. I don't think blake or gatlin stand a change though
Oh please. Bolt hobbyjogged the last 20m.

Haha. You wanna take that back?
Hahahahahaa!
Coleman doesn't necessarily jump out of the blocks themselves. What he does extremely well is accelerate from about 15m to 50m. He needs to work on top speed, whereas Bolt just did not have the huge drive I expected in the last fifty, and of course he gave the field a big advantage once again. In the end, this was settled by just a few hundredths of a second from 1st to third in a slow time, against a slight wind, and it could easily have been otherwise. The evil you know triumphs over the youth and the great one protected from testing all these years.

Hey, I was wrong, I've been wrong before. I don't think too many people predicted that result though. Gatlin looked so bad even in the semi. Gotta give him props though - he came through when it counted.
I like Coleman though - once he adjusts his training schedule to the pro scene, he will be running 9.7x or 9.8x if he stays healthy. He's the future of the 100. And, with the way he starts, he could even be a 9.6x guy some day if he can find closing speed like Bolt/Gay once had.
