Thank god for nBC gold. But there are no commentators.
You say that like it's a bad thing. I'm really enjoying it. You can't complain about bad commentary if there isn't any commentary at all.

That was sad to watch the german fade. Dibaba just made the final
Bold, but the veterans showed her how to run a semi. Or maybe she knew that she did not a finishing kick and go after it was her best chance. Almost worked.
Dibaba in on time, fyi.
I was talking about Klosterhalfen, to be clear.
Ran 359 totally solo recently (German championships?) and now this? How does that happen?
Those 1500m semifinals were actually quite sad. You had to feel for Tsegay and Klosterhalfen...
As for Dibaba, she is a lost cause. This too is a sad case because if she has been clean this whole time, people are pointing fingers at her for no reason. If she doped in 2015, it is sad for the sport because the 1500m WR is just as dirty.
What a final this will be, nonetheless!

How? Did you watch the race? She made way too big of a surge .
It was reminiscent of Laura Muir in the Olympic final last year.
First of all, Klosterhalfen didn't look good in the 1st round yesterday. SHe faded over the final 100. Today, went crazy at 700. I went back adn timed her spltis from 700 toi the finish.
30.02 (15.01, 15.01), 30.89, 32.20, 33.39
So she ran a 60.9 on the third lap and rigged up a little coming home in the last 100.

I don't believe she was clean, but I also don't know she was doping. Thus the problem in track and field.

The Klosterhalfen from four weeks ago would have brought that home. Seems like she peaked a few weeks early
Lets go womens 10k, if this is anything close to the rio race it will be awesome.
I'm Liking Dibaba, but who knows what shape Ayana is in.
I hope Aprot makes it fast again like she did last year.
