I really think he still has some years left in him, especially in the marathon. I think in an ideal race in 2-3 years he can get as low as 2:02. What do you think?

I'll bet you whatever you want to bet.
I think it's laughable to think he'll be great at the marathon. I think the odds that he returns to the track in 2019 are way greater than him ever sniffing at WR in the marathon.
I think he's more speed oriented and is moving up quite late in his career.
Let's appreciate him for being the GOAT at track distance running.
He's retiring fam
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The dope is strong in this one.
yes. he will cruise at sub 4:34 pace and then kick with the last mile in under 3:40. you heard it here folks
He completed a 2:08 marathon on his debut without proper training. He can lower this mark to 2:05 with ease within a year. I don't think he'll retire before 38...

How many teams of pacers would it take to carry Mo to 2:05? Four teams of three pacers? It took two teams just to carry him to 2:08... If everyone in the race is hired to pace Mo does it still qualify as a race or is it a time trial?
Yeah.... no he's like 2k behind the current WR and it's only moving farther away in a few months....

Good trolling OP. You got rojo and some others to bite.
But He'll be like 36-37 years old. There's no way he'll run that fast.. No one at that age range can run a fast marathon time.

This is correct, my guess is that running less important marathons and winning in 2:07-08 will hurt his market value, so he will be forced like Viren (in 1980) to race again hoping to do a threepeat. These great champions always retire, then see the next generation come along and start winning things they used to, the great champions feel that they were better than the new breed, they get the itch and back they come (Jordan, Farve, Magic even Ali). I could see Bolt making a comeback.

Or, he'll keep with the "wanting to go for the win" mentality and settle for 2:05's in races he does, while skipping races like Berlin.

He can't skip London.
And he won't be winning it unless organizers water down the field...
What makes you think he'll go for times in the marathon when he has never gone for times on the track?
Besides in the marathon you have the real distance talents, many of which have chosen to skip the track and go straight to the marathon. Many guys with sub 2:05 times. Farah doesn't stand a chance there and he knows it. No sit and kicks in the marathon for Farah.

Very funny cultural reference great job wow how impressive very original and you must be very cool
Pff, he couldn't even beat Galen Rupp's PR in the 10,000. FACT.

Let's all calm down shall we. He won't do anything special on the road marathons, that is obvious.
Let us just appreciate the GOAT championship runner, the likes of who we are unlikely to ever see again.
