Surprised i couldn't find a thread on this. What do you think? Predictions? DNS? DNF? Will he break 5 hours?

KEVIN HART* MY BAD
Will he run on pure hart?
Maybe he can use his three facial expressions to take a minute off a 5-hour marathon.
I bet it will be comical..;)
Taking bets right now. Kevin Hart: DNF.
I think he will run it. Have you seen him lately in movies? I think with his short stature and quick movement he can maybe under 5hr. Don't know his stats i.e. Age or athletic history if any...anyone know?
Please don't.
On a tweet from a couple years ago, he says he ran a 21:54 5k.
The only time I can find for him is a 21:54 5k that he tweeted about. He is in good shape and is big into fitness and his workout routines. I think he could go around 3:30.
There is zero chance he runs 330 or better.. I guess he will aim for the Oprah mark.
The ego these entertainers have.
Why is it HUGE NEWS when a young healthy person decides to run a marathon? Oh, because he's famous for something else? So that makes HIS entry special?
Well how about this, I was a DIII track All American, and my big announcement is I'M GONNA TELL JOKES IN PUBLIC! What's YOUR "moon shot"?!?!?!?!
His comedy is not my cup of tea, but I'm glad he's running. RW cover aside, it's nice to have someone famous promote running, even if he's a "hobbyjogger."
He'll break 4 hours..... not by much.
I'm guessing within 3:40-4:00. He's actually pretty fast.
I'm guessing a little faster. He should try to take down Will Ferrell's 3:56:12. That would make him the fastest stand up comic marathoner.Of course, not counting Dana Carvey's fake marathon time.

Normally I agree with you regarding the hubris of celebrities, particularly when you have poorly educated celebrities who live in a bubble expounding on political issues.I feel a little bit differently here though. This guy isn't going out and making a speech and telling anyone how to vote. He is announcing sharing something that is a big deal to him via social media. While I am a nobody, when I signed up for my fist marathon, I did the same thing (although I admittedly didn't characterize it as a huge announcement - but it was a big deal to me).And my impression is that he runs regularly and occasionally announces spontaneous meet ups for short runs via social media.I think it is good for the sport that people bring attention to it, and I think it is good for the African American community, a community that suffers disproportionately from obesity and diabetes, to see someone who resonates within their community modeling an active lifestyle. Maybe someone will see at that at think "I always thought running wasn't for me, but maybe it is . . .."I predict 3:50.

come on guys, that's good for the sport, to get more attention. predict 4:15.
do these celebrities start in the main pack, I mean are they put in a wave according to their predicted finish time as everyone else?
Honestly, these are the kind of posts I'd like to see more of from LRC. Not everybody can run 2:08 like the majority of LRC (sarcasm for you trolls)..but if the man wants to run and is inspired to do it, by all means, embrace it. For all the bs that's promoted by our society, a non elite celebrity figure spreading the love of running, sounds good to me!
He likes running and is generally enthusiastic about it. Why is this a bad thing?I figure he'll run a 4 hour marathon, take tons of photos, get good publicity and inspire a lot of people to try a "scary" 5k. I would wager he's more inspiring as a runner than Galen Rupp, etc is to the general public.
