So okay... I'll try and keep it short, ran D3 in college and really enjoy my time while pursuing my engineering degree, still running today, chasing some PRs, and reading LetsRun.
While growing up, my grandmother had a college fund stashed away for my sister and I for when it was time for us to go away for our degrees...
Unfortunately, the following events took place... My grandfather passed away on a small weekend trip away from home by himself and it left my grandmother completely devastated and depressed. Within a months time, she also passed, but in her depressed state my uncle convinced her to make him the Will Holder..
When my grandmother passed soon after, my uncle basically signed everything over to himself, sold her house and no one has heard from him since...
Through hours of research and asking old friends of his, a distant relative has given me his contact information and location.
What do I do? Do I contact him and ask him to assist me, or do I keep my pride in tact and not request money from a crook? In the back of my head, I feel like this might be a chance for redemption for him to help with my debt and maybe be welcomed back to the family. Tough situation, would appreciate any advice... Thanks guys.
