I'll get it out there I don't like the idea that Semenya and van Niekerk are unbeatable.
Disagreed with that assessment in our preview.
Semenya only won by .10 at Pre this year.
Makwala is pretty fast. Having said that if either was to lose at this meet, I'd say it is more likely Semenya. Both big favorites of course.
Van Niekerk is at least in 43.4-43.5 shape already. Though, I think if he's pressed through 300, he can put the hammer down and really pull away.
He's not ready for a another WR yet most likely, but he's pretty close to invincible barring injury or some sort of fluke.
English commentary but bad quality. I'm playing both with the non-english muted
agreed Wejo. sensible as usual.no one is unbeatable.who knows how makwala reacts when he's chasing down niekerk the last 80 meters...different ways to push yourselfmakwala is rounding into form and Wade's been churning out amazing performances for a while. it can only last so long...that being said, i'f I'm makwala, i'd rather win the WC's and lose todaysemen-ya?

Although I don't think NBC should be charging anything for its gold feed, I think it's worth the money for track fans in order to avoid this type of monkey business. I would go insane trying to figure out how to watch every meet. I actually thinks its very good.
Kelli White, on NBC Sports, sure repeats herself a lot. Like three times in a row. What the heck
Kiprop sitting on Cenetro in the 1500. Will DFL at 400.
Wow that was a fast 1500
