The Senate could use a woman's perspective, especially when she's the greatest woman athlete of all time. Has the US ever elected a woman who appeared on a Wheaties box before?

Would they let her use the women's bathroom in the Senate?
At least she could use the bathroom at Trump Tower.
No trumpkins in Cali, bro.
You go girl!
It would be a triumph for women everywhere to have such an accomplished and independent woman in the Senate.

trumpkins not being from a state has not stopped them from meddling in the politics of other states. a ton of out-of-state trumpkin money poured into recent red state elections to keep red seats in congress. do try to keep up.
Stunning and brave.
What a bad idea! She's only 67. She not old enough to fit in with the other senators. She needs to get another decade or so of life experience before running for the Senate.

And how is that YOUR decision to make? Please explain your authorization and provide your detailed qualifications. If you prove yourself capable and qualified then you might get one, maybe two, trolls on LRC to agree with you.
If I come off as an a$$hole to you, but don't identify as one, would you not be permitted to refer to me as "a$$hole?"
My general rule for transgendered people is that, if I can see that they've put a lot of effort into taking on a new gender and I don't dislike them as a person, I will refer to them by their chosen pronoun (example: Blair White). If I dislike an individual, because they are a vapid, attention-whore, like Jenner, or an opportunistic scumbag, like Semenya, then I generally base pronoun use on their apparent biological sex.
It is MY decision as to what pronouns I use to describe a person; not theirs, just as it might be your decision to call me "a$$hole" in response.
You think a lot about a$$hole? So, so gay of you.

You are mixing up two different things. Jenner is objectively a biological male who has decided to "identify" as female. Semenya objectively has an intersex condition that gives her some biological characteristics of both men and women (reportedly).

Semenya has internal testes. He cannot be XX, chromosomally. If he had some rare condition and was XXY, for instance, he wouldn't be capable of running 1:55 or faster, as those kinds of genetic conditions are not conducive to athletic prowess.
Semenya is XY, which means that his sex is male, like Jenner. His penis simply didn't develop properly, during his mother's pregnancy. He's still a man. He could be an average male collegiate runner if he competed in the appropriate division.
Anyways, like I said before, I base my Semenya pronoun use on his APPARENT biological sex, which is male, coupled by the fact that I dislike him for continuing to compete in the women's division - even after knowing his medical diagnosis. If he ever releases his medical info to the track community and it shows that he's XX, chromosomally, I will stop using male pronouns to describe him, and will apologize, under my real name, for libeling him on this site. I won't hold my breath for that to ever happen, though.

YAWN. Only you care that you have made your tiny mind up.
You can define things however you want in your own mind. It's your mind. But intersex conditions objectively exist and people with intersex conditions objectively have sex-linked characteristics of both men and women.
What make one party love celebrities so much? Reagan, Ventura, Trump, Schwartzenegger, etc.

Maybe they like people who have accomplished something in other areas of life, and had interests other than a life long burning desire to get into politics as a means to power and control over other peoples' lives?
So I guess the question should be asked - "What make (sic) one party love" people who graduated from college and went straight into a career in politics so much?
Were you given special access to Semenya's tests to know she is XY?

Same reason you are a fan of certain athletes I guess. Athletes can be celebrities too.

Um, do you remember the 2003 California gubernatorial recall election? All kinds of whack jobs were running. Yes, California is crazy enough to elect Bruce Jenner.
