I disagree. If this is Bolt's last year and he's not in good shape, avoiding other people here is smart. He wants to maintain the psychological edge he has over them.
If you watch the Bolt movie, the psychological games were key.
Really, Rojo?
If he wants to maintain his psychological edge he should just go to one of his typical third tier world class races like he normally does before a championship.
Denying formidable competitors a chance to compete against him in one of the biggest diamond leagues of the year because Bolt doesn't want a rough ride is beyond pathetic and horrible for the sport. Bolt will win in 9.9x against a weak field (assuming he even shows up to the line), and everyone will clap and cheer wildly and pretend like what they just witnessed doesn't also happen in some collegiate competitions... how exciting! God forbid track and field have some real head to head matches.
I can't decide who I want to lose more in London... Bolt or Farah?
