Cush I'm going to correct you on one point. You said that you and Pete competed at Nationals in Sacto where you could have been drug tested. Not true. The Sacto national meet was in 2010. Testing at masters national meets didn't start until summer 2011. The world masters championships have drug tested for years and there was drug testing at Sacto in 2011 but it was at the world meet, not the national meet the prior year.
fair enough--i had just looked at several of the most recent years of club x-c, and they had testing, and we competed. i assumed we would have had testing in 2010. i remember athletes being tested at one of the national x-c meets in boulder (can't remember which of the two years, or if it was both); drug testing would have been a possibility when pete won winter x-c nats in 2011 in san diego.

as for eddie castille:
"Pretty sure I made some valid points, so I don't believe I was wasting my time. Readers can decide how many of his own rules he meets. BTW, I have some pretty good credentials, too. Its curious how Magill waded into this thread, initially, in an obvious attempt to control the discussion, thereby; directing it away from himself"

all chest-thumping and sarcasm aside, what were your valid points and how were they valid (write slowly for me, i'm cognitively challenged)? i gave you one point, not sure what others would be valid, and you don't make any attempt to counter my counterpoints, other than you're fast too, but apparently more modest. BTW your last sentence above is silly and speculative...
