You clearly have no idea what is going to happen to you over the next 20 years. The difference between 18 and 38 is miniscule - and in some cases can be made up for by training - compared to the difference between 38 and 58. Why would you even think you have a clue?
There are professional athletes in all sports at 38, and none at 58. Golf doesn't count.
