Didn't centro do like 3 x sub 1:50 last summer? One of those was racing in the tracktown series but then he did 2 more after?

He ran 1:47 in the race, then did something like 1:51/1:49/1:47. That was the first sign of a killer year in the making.
If flotrack didn't remove the picture of centro drinking slurpees with alberto and the rest of NOP I would post it here...
If he came up to me and asked me out with those nerves, I'd instantly reject him.

Results? Centro is absolutely not going to medal running a 1:49, regardless of how slow the race is. Especially with less than a month until worlds.
I agree, no chance for Matthew to medal in the 800, since he's not entered in that event nor has he ever run it since high school, other than for speed training.
Thanks xc chick for the video.
We now know exactly why the race was slow! It was cold and wet, no good for fast 800 running.
Also Centro looked like he was just warming up for his workout, probably ran two more at that pace. The c-sauce (L-carnitine) isn't banned, and no way to prove a certain amount was administered through IV. Centro will roll at Worlds unless the Kenyans take it out at 55 for the first 400m.
