This is not just a stupid people on LetsRun saying, but I hear it everywhere...I am so sick of the "fake Eugene times". You know nothing about sprinting and are too lazy to look into anything.2 weeks before Eugene Coleman ran at Kentucky and ran 80m then actually shut it down and cruised to a easy9.98 into a -0.2 =9.97 Basic9.96 easy finalThen he ran 9.82 on the only good weather day in Eugene with a 1.3m tailwind = 9.89 BasicFinal in cold weather 10.04 into -2.1 = 9.91 BasicOnly TWO weeks later again he runs three races in two days into constant headwinds on last two roundsPre: 9.93 .2 wind = 9.94 BasicSemis: 10.02 into -1.4 = 9.93 BasicFinal: 9.98 into -0.7 = 9.94 Basic Weather and many other things affect performance! Wind, temp, altitude, barometric pressure, travel, rounds, energy in stadium, pressure, expectations, sleep, stress...etcEugene was NOT a fluke nor fake time. If they had switched the direction of the 100m in Sacramento Coleman and Gatlin would have run 9.8's. Coleman has the ability to run 9.8 again and probably will in the rounds. That doesn't mean he will do it next to Bolt. More than likely he will lose his form like he did against Gatlin and Gatlin will lose his form again and Bolt will win.Van Niekerk would have actually had a good shot to beat Bolt in the 100m. That would have been the race to watch.

Gatlin is running 9.9s. He is not going to be in low 9.8x shape for london. I give him 9.86 as ceiling this summer.
Coleman hasn't been able to replicate his Eugene fake times.
De Grasse and Blake are the only athletes with chances for sub 9.80, and I say 9.80 because Bolt is going to be in 9.7x shape for London.
People forgets that Bolt is struggling badly with 10.06/10.03 times.
