Sure. I guess that's why the entire world wants to come here.

It's sad that all you folks can do is blather on worrying about his age. He looks plausibly 17, he ran a ridiculous PB, which reeks of youth and inexperience, he ran the race like a kid trying to keep up with the big boys (which he did). I teach 18-19 years olds. Some look like children. Some look like adults. The athletic ones sometimes look older sooner. That fair skin and soft look you are used to in the US is because US teenagers are mostly fat and don't go outside much.
The biggest proven cheaters in the world of track and field are US sprinters. Take care of your own at home first.

I agree with all of this. Also, I don't find it that unbelievable that a kid could do this. Remember, Eliud Kipchoge won the 2003 world championship at age 18, outkicking Bekele and El Guerrouj to do it. Michael Phelps won 6 gold medals in Athens at age 19. Nobody is claiming that he's an age cheat. Sometimes kids are just studs.

Nice how you included "proven" as a caveat, since everyone knows that Jamaica and the East African countries have been getting away with murder.

Subway Surfers Addiction wrote:How in the hell did a 17 year old just run a 12:55 5k? A 20s pb this is a joke. $5 says that he has never been tested & he ain't 17.
Of all the things that might be suspicious, a 17 year old running a 20s PB ain't one of them.
So Mo runs 13:07 in 2007 then spends 2 years running 13:08/09 before dropping to 12:57 in 2010 then 12:53 in 2011. And we're suspicious and quite rightly, the evidence suggests shenanigans. So a 17 year old (probably 20) who had probably never been drug tested goes from 13:15 to 12:55. No that's not dodgy at all.

Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
