I thought they were cutting down on the age cheating in Kenya.

I'll admit a photo of Alan Webb at the same age looks even older so they might be under 18.

In my mind, the Kenyan U-18 boys 1500 winner looks like he's 30? (Pic). Am I crazy?

Hey is that Bryan Berryhill in the background?
-
I think you're just racist
-
It's not (racist). I saw a victory photo of a thin girl --white-- who won New Balance 5k she could have passed for 23 (she was 15). Thin people under stress of competition look older. Black people more so.

Um, you are the "[email protected]". OP's reasoning makes sense. The dude looks 30+ easy.

- Just like Emmanuel Korrir ... a Master 40+ dude

Has anyone ever noticed Alan Webb was wearing U of Michigan shoes in that mile?
Pretty sure it's a recruiting violation to provide gear to recruits. -
Yes, you are crazy.
-
Only other picture I could find of him. I'd say the bigger crime is not finding him gear that fits.

Um...ever heard of Kennedy's?

Oh damn, I was running for a DII school in the early 2000's and I didn't realize I was wearing U Mich shoes. (Those are the Kennedy shoes) -
Please do not use words that rhyme with the 'n-word' next to the word 'crime'. It implies you really wanted to use the n-word but replaced it with a word that rhymes disguising your inherent racism

He looks older than the author of the story.
-
I think Webb was 18 1/4 roughly (so not U18) in that picture. The other guy should be 17 no? Does look "oldish" for 17 but, Ive seen worse examples.

Look at Johnathan Sawe from World Jr's 2015. That MAN was easily 30 and had the hairline of Lebron James.
-
Actually, Nike was pretty clever with those Kennedy's from Pre in 2001. If you will remember, Dathan ran as well and was running in a then-unreleased pair of black and gold Kennedy's and Alan was in the unreleased blue and maize color ways. They would eventually go on to be released the next track season (November).
As someone who works in this industry, I cannot see how those college recruits got their hands on those shoes that early without being some violation of gifts-for-high school-runners. -
if he is 18 i am 11 wrote:

- I'm with you ... it's too bad Kenya wasn't part one of the countries included within Executive Order 13769 for further vetting. No doubt, DHS would find all kinds of "Rift Valley BS" ranging from names, ages, and fingerprints all the way to appropriate country (think Somalia, Sudan) Kenya remains a rogue country with respect to its ability to properly document it's citizen's to Western standards.
