Cheptegei keeping the pacs moving. 10:26, they need a 2:33 last 1k to get under 13, very possible.

7:51 at 3k (so 2:40 3rd km slowed a lot).
Need to get going again for a sub 13:00.
4 guys up front. 8:54 now at 3400
9:55 at 3800 so that was a good lap.
10:57/58 at 4200
Johua Cheptegei the guy who pushed it at Worlds XC is leading, Edris, Barega, Alamirew
Cheptegei is becoming one of my favorites
Cheptegie first, Edris on his shoulder, their going to break 13
So Eithiopian team is Edris, Barega, and ?
Finally Farah's slow 13:00 WL has been shattered. I hope they run like this in
The WC, this way Farah doesn't stand a chance
55.14 final lap for the 12:55 win.
impressive by Edris. Barega was world junior champ and Cheptegei gets rewarded with a sub 13:00.
As Hutchings noted Farah closed in 52 in Rio and ran 13:03. Hard to believe it was that fast in Rio but idea he can't close in a decently fast race isn't true.
Who was the guy rolling around on the home straightaway?
12:55.24 by Edris. He might be Farahs closest challenger in the 5k, he really has a kick. Barega becomes the next random east african to break 13, also running 12:55 at the alleged age of 17. Cheptegei break as well in 12:59. I like cheptegei because he's not afraid to push the pace unlike so many other athletes *cough* *cough* mo farah *cough*
How did True only run 13:28 a week after 7:35 3k in Paris?
ben true shits himself in 13:28
Perhaps because he ran a 7:35 5 days ago?
Picardo beating Taylor at the moment in the tripls jump, remember the rivalry they had in 2015 where they both went over 18 that culmulated with that huge 18.2 by Taylor?
the kid looked kinda young tbh

Not sure. He's clean, so super-human performances in rapid succession are pretty difficult.

Yeah, I don't really see her do that after replaying it, but it doesn't matter.
It's funny that if Dibaba had just started jogging her victory lap right after running 3:50, she would have gotten to the mile mark on the backstretch before the time that she did full out today. Dibaba is a strange athlete.
A little incident in Sabadell wouldn't have anything to do with that "strangeness", would it?
That was kinda quick 800 m.
My dream for WC in the 5k. Chemilo jumps on the first 2k in 5:09. Cheptegei then takes over and leads them through 3k in 7:42 and 4k in 10:15. Farah went out towards the back of the Pack and slowly moved his way up to the lead group by 3k. At 4k farah seizes the lead and tries to slow it down like the p*ssy he is, but cheptegei dosen't allow it and keeps moving. At 600 left farah moves to the front, but with 500 left some random kenyan or ethopian comes out and drives all the way to home finishing in 12:44
It's not going to happen but I can dream.
Well thats rare in the diamond league. Perfect pacemaking going 56.5 exactly
All ten finishers under two minutes.

Better take advantage before the testosterone blockers become mandated. Is it any shock that intersex athletes win the race EVERY TIME?
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
