Shocked how little Rudisha had left in the tank after going through 800 in 1:52.
Sidenote, Van Niekerk is unreal, hope he can get double gold in London
We always heard the argument about Wariner and the 800: 49 seconds in the first lap will feel like jogging to him, so he should be able to set a WR. This shows that it doesn´t work that way.

2000m in 5:17. Km average 2:08. Decent pace
Farah 6:22 at 6 laps. in 2nd brehind the rabbit. DOesn't look like they have too many rabbits. Only 1 guy ahead of Farah.
The kid that beat Rudisha in Jamaica, Willy Tarbei, couldn't even make the finals at the Kenyan trials. Meaning there are at least ten Kenyans running faster than Rudisha right now. For the worlds, I'm putting my money on Kipyegon Bett.

Who besides me is upset Kwemoi isn't running the 5k at Worlds. The Kenyan 5k team is horrible. Winner of Kenyan trials has 13:03 pb. I think KWemoi could maybe challenge him.
Who the hell is going to challenge Farah now?
What was Chelimo's PR going into Rio? Definitely not 13:03
3000m in 7:56ish Falling off pace a bit, but probably just settling.
Bein broadcast keeps switching to field.

26:30 pace, but I will wait until they hold the pace when the pacers drop before I get too excited. Lead pack down to 4 + rabbit, Mo right behind the rabbit still, even egging him on to speed up.
Working live stream here!
8:31 through 3200. 4:16's make 26:40 pace

No one. Even if the talent was there to challenge him, they'd run in such a way so as not to challenge him.
831 at 3200. THat's 26:36 pace. I can't believe Nike wouldn't get more rabbits but maybe it's hard with the Kenyan Trials last week.
4000m in 10:41. Doing well.
They've been running steady 65s for the last few laps.
Christian Taylor jumped 17.19m.
10,000m on world record pace and they keep cutting to field... I get it, I want to see that too, but stop showing 5 slow motion replays, plus B roll of them talking to their coach.
Just now they showed video of the hammers hanging down in the rack for like 5 seconds!
5000m split in 13:oh wait lets do a feature on a hammer thrower.

How is it on world record pace? Not a single split has been on world record pace.
Hammer which took place yesterday and had already been shown in the premeeting... terrible.

5000m in 13:09? Ok, 1 second behind WR pace...
