Thought patterns like this are why Letsrun has a bad reputation. Based on the full flotrack video and on the consistentcy of the comments from the women's team, WD needed to go.
Only problem is no one ever says specifically what he did. I tried getting specifics in another thread about the 'abuse' and 'harassment' and all I ever got back was that it's not okay to even passingly mention anything regarding weight and that nothing (specifically performance on the team they're being payed to perform for) should ever jeopardize a scholarship.
-It would be one thing if he forced his athletes to lose weight to an unhealthy level, another if he told them it would be beneficial to carry as little excess as possible.
-It would be one thing if he told an injured athlete that if they didn't run a meet he would yank scholarship, another if an athlete was being paid to be a part of the team and consistently under-performing forcing him to have realistic conversations about the distribution of scholarship funding.
Asked for specifics on what happened, met with full-scale triggering about how he should be fired and beaten up. Anyone care to say exactly what he did? 'Cause it sounds like a bunch of entitled babies without specifics.
The video - guys a creep, not going to question that, but others have said - he knew he was being filmed. It seems more like a coach who doesn't understand personal boundaries in an athlete/coach relationship.
