I prefer to run in park but in such cases I know that a lot of people who makes from their houses (a room) gym. Yeah it is good and very useful because you do not waste your time on road to the gym anymore. For that you will need to renovate or rebuilt your house. In past I did something like that with my kitchen and I can tell that to find somebody who will do that fast and on high level is practically impossible. No. Don't see the need to do that. Ok, if I was on house arrest or something I could see it but then I would run around my yard as you could still do that and not be in violation.

No but In middle school one day we ran inside the school because of bad weather

Lived in a 12 floor apartment for a couple years. I would run the stairs every now and then. Even kept track of my PRs single stepping and double stepping.
