Yes. Which means, mommy drove you to the end of the driveway for the bus. You don't have any idea what Saturday morning cartoons are. You never rode your bike to school. You have a nicer car than your teachers. You have at least three guy friends who are mtetrosexuals. You use or have heard the word "offensive" your entire life. You know girls who use Tinder. You know parents who buy alcohol for their kids parties. You've never paid a dime for any part of your college education or were ever expected to get a summer job.
You're lazy. You're a loser. You play video games instead of playing outside. You, sir are the reason Kenya and other African countries will forever kick our LDR a$$es.
I was born in 1984 and walked to the school bus. Sometimes I was walked to school (there and back) which was 2 miles away in 3rd grade.
I woke up early for Saturday Cartooons and cooked my own breakfast. My two cars were both 13 years old and then I bought my own new car with my own money.
I've seen girls on tinder that I knew from high school and swiped left 9/10 times.
I asked a homeless guy to buy me alcohol instead of parents and bought him some too.
I have 20k in college debt still.
I can be lazy at times and do procrastinate a lot. I've hate video games since I quit because I became too angry when I lost (quit when I was 12). The kids say I rage quit but I say I rage retired because I view video games as the biggest time waste of time ever.
With that being said, I think the Millennial generation should be pushed closer to 1990. Sure there are a lot variables for some people but mahbe I'm an outlier but I worked for my life. And for the record, I'm a teacher who has first hand knowledge of the entitlement and laziness of our young adults and youth. Sometimes I have to gather myself before I blow up so I don't blow up on them.
