Not to be weird, but would anyone else here really enjoy being in a cuddle sandwich between Evan Jager and Mason Ferlic?

It was a battle between four men for three spots on the last lap. Jager was clearly better, Kebenei takes second and Bor just barely holds off a diving Andy Bayer.

Bayer 4th again, poor chap.
Looked like it
Looked like Bor put his arm out to impede Bayer going over the last barrier
Bayer got boxed after the water jump. That looked like his best path going in (Bor went wide), but getting stuck behind Kebenei's stumble killed any momentum he could have gained.
Bor moved in, but I don't think he impeded, it looked like he had a bit of room on the replay.

Also because 95% of people on this board have a massive crush on Brenda, so a little resentment.
I'm guilty of the crush, haha. But I have no knowledge of Carlos and have been amazed that the obscure coach of basically 1 runner in the world toiling away in the Inland Empire can be the object of such frequent scorn.
bor should be dq

Why?
Didn't run a straight line to the finish. Actually looked in and then moved in making Bayer go wide. Judgement call but he didn't run a straight line with intentions.
Damn it I had Coleman first then changed it to Gatlin and he dropped out and I had lyles top 3 also there goes my letsrun picks. I blew this contest bad.

Any sign of a protest?
Yeah, but if you have room on the inside, can't you take the rail, as long as you are not impeding? I would like to see the replay again, Bor was certainly flailing.

Did Bor cut off Bayer???
I don't think so. The Americans need to be more physical.

The commentators mentioned a yellow flag and the event is "under review" on the online results. Not sure if it has to do with this or not.
The announcer mentioned a yellow flag at the finish. They wont dq Bor for that. Probably a warning. Don't know if Bayer protested. He'd probably lose a protest anyway.
Guess what, US is even better in the 400. Could be a pattern there.

Of course he had the standard. It is 1:45.9.
Funny how good the US is in the 800, where all of the real contenders have the standard, compared to the 1500 where even the medallists are so lousy that they have to "chase" every single WC.
