Watched the "found on highway 49" doc...this guy, great story going all in for specific ultra training.
On a side note both Walmsley and Miller are in that elite sub 6 have they ever raced?

Too much caffeine with too little electrolytes + heat = diarrhea from hell
TNF 50 showdown sometime would be really cool

Zack Miller? Zack won last year's WS after Walmsey went on a right-turn walkabout not long after falling in the river.
That should be Zach.
Nope, that was Andrew Miller of GA.
Zach hasn't raced WS. Ever.

think youre thinking of andrew miller, bruh. zach's in a different league.
Big move! The Mocko Show moves to 5th place.
Cat Bradley, age 23, has moved into the 2 spot for the women. Some new blood running exceptional well; like Zach Miller in 2016.

Yes, my error. Got my Millers flipped.

Now I can't tell if you're trolling or just blind AND stupid. Andrew Miller. Not Zach.

Thank you to whoever this stats guy is, interesting to look at.

What's the verdict on singlets? Shouldn't they run shirtless in this heat? Surely the chafing with a singlet has to be a concern. Cooler too, just slap on some sunscreen.
and looks like he ran too hard in the second 50k split leading to the stomach issues, running scared will do that
well it would be thrilling if miller(zach) made a go of this race. The way he raced TNF was interesting, starting out really fast with Hawks then letting him go only to regroup before the agressive singletrack and push strong in the last 15miles diving into the finish...the fact that he lives fairly basic on a trail at camp barr would only seem to set himself up for this

heat is the more limiting factor
There's a meme on twitter "Jim Walmsley has such a lead at WS he..."
best one is

Funny jokes, but he's only 56 minutes ahead. Anything can happen. Word is that he is having a rough time and irunfar says he's running less smooth than last year. The race just started and Walmsley is probably worried.
