I'm guessing you feel bad for Ben True. Ben True was coached by Tim Broe for a while though.

You mean that African that just stole the spot that American Ben True should have had?

No, no, you can't lead the whole race, you will never win that way, it takes too much energy to lead, you need to jog in a pack and leave it to the last 200, that's the only way to win a championship race.
You are an idiot. You can win that way if you are a lot better than the rest.
Please if you luck something to contribute, shut up. It could be better if you where there to secure a spot to world championship.

Are you not a wise man? far out west was being SARCASTIC. I thought it was clever and funny.
Looks like he had the fastest split in the field for EVERY SINGLE lap until the last one.

What a run.
You gotta feel for Tim Broe. He basically ran the entire thing by himself as well as everyone else in the chase pack sucked off of him. Broe basically just solo'd a 13:17.94 himself (admittedly he had chelimo like 75 meters in front as candy) and didn't make the team.
1 Paul Chelimo 13:08.62
U.S. Army
2 Eric Jenkins 13:15.74
Nike / Nike Oregon Project
3 Ryan Hill 13:16.99
Nike / Bowerman TC
4 Ben True 13:17.94
Saucony
Tim Broe is Ben True spelled backwards
Paul hangin the wash out to dry Chelimo
Paul Chelimo
Ladies and gentlemen, Paul Chelimo.
What is 13:08 in 80 degrees worth under ideal temperature?
Jack Daniels calculator says 12:42. Not sure if I believe that.
Impressive display of world class talent. He may give Mo a run for his money, providing he lays it all on the line and doesn't settle for a tactical 2nd or 3rd. He won't run that brazen at World's against equally talented runners.
Very impressive, but I didn't see anything to make Mo worry. Mo won't be dropped at that pace or even considerably faster, and I don't think Paul can outkick him just yet.

I don't think you're understanding the temperature thingy.
Kipchoge ran 12:51 in similar, but warmer, conditions in 2010 (94°F, 54°DP, dark). His best is 12:46.
So Chelimo's 13:08 (67°, 57°DP, nightime) ? Probably worth..... 13:08

Me too. Chelimo and Jager are my two favorite runners.
