Isn't it amazing that Randall Cunningham is the coach of the national champ in the HJ?
Kind of makes you believe that athletics is about 99% genetic and 1% coaching.

did anyone else drop the NBC gold coverage? all I get is "coverage will resume shortly". I tried both links they offer as well.
Yes. Mine stopped working as well. For charging $70, the product doesn't seem to be very reliable.

Isn't Randall Cunningham known for being super into high jump? I'd imagine he's a great coach. And consistent coaching from an early age is the best anyone can hope for.

There is a break in the action. Commentators need to go to the bathroom, etc. When I do broadcasts, we occasionally just take breaks.

Yes. It is stopped now and I have had some minor interruptions tonight.
It was Hardee's first completed decathlon since 2015.

Fine, but don't do it during the women's 400 semis. We completely missed both races.

I believe all that, except for the fact that it was while the womens 400m semis were going on, so I missed both of those. Cut out at the end of the deca 1500 and just now came back for mens 400 semis.

Actually the women's 400m semis were taking place during the interruption. It wasn't a break, it was an eff-up.
Finally, a real broadcast is live in hd on tv!
How hard is in for the TV commentators to understand that 400m is not 1/4 mile.
Not as hard as it is to read a thermometer that isn't digital
big PRs for 2,3,5 in that race. Kerley looks so good.
Also which broadcast is everyone watching? I'm bypassing the TV version to stick with hutchings on the internet.
The real question is when will the Eaton's produce offspring to anihlate all past Decathlon records?
Did anyone see C Taylor in the triple? Did he even try on his one jump? Or did he just run through the pit?
Can someone tell me why they continue to let amputees run against able bodied athletes? It's inspiring and I'm find with them running in an exhibition but scoring? No.

I believe you are required to compete in any event at nationals in order to be eligible for the wild card, so by taking 1 attempt he satisfies that requirement.
A other reason track is a shit event to promote. Come out and watch our champions do the minimum it takes to advance.
