Its ok Cas. Penn has a 2 year associates degree that guarantees job placement at Little Caesars in Rome, NY. Within 2 years you can make assistant manager.

Why would he care about that? Cas has never attended Penn and has no plans to in the future.

Word is Cas did not sleep with her, but was getting close to the wife of the Brooks CEO. photo was leaked onto Facebook, CEO found out, got Cas axed.

What does your rant have to do with Cas being a college dropout, a professional clusterfvck and an all-around devious and dishonest POS?

Depression isn't an excuse for being a college loser and hitting on the CEO's wife. It means hes a world class narcissistic prick who feels remorse only when he gets caught being a world class prick.

I think athletes are slowly trying to share their stories on this. I remember reading on Citius Magazine about lower Tier-1 athlete's story on his battle with depression.

I appreciate the athletes showing how they are human.

Don't conflate the two stories. Cas is a manipulative prick who feels remorse only when he gets caught.

Hm didn't realize my post was a "rant".

Think about other depressed runners who see Cas's post and then see this thread. I know other professional and semi-pro runners with depression and I hope they don't click on it.

The internet really does suck sometimes.

Different situation obviously, but did anyone hear about the TWELVE year old girl that killed herself because of cyber bullies? TWELVE. Mind blowing and sad.

Depression takes too many young people. I remember Jason Walton (NJ runner) who was beating Robby Andrews in most events before throwing himself in front a train the summer before his senior year in high school. That was the first funeral I ever went to and it has stuck with me ever since. His mom could hardly walk she was crying so hard the whole time. Maybe if he had read about other people working through and going public with their depression, he could have reached out for help. I did not know him well and don't want to presume to know the whole situation but even years later, it makes me sad to think about.

Maybe nothing was stopping Jason but I'd like to hope the next runner who thinks about stepping in front of a train or jumping off a Philadelphia parking garage, can think twice and reach out for help and support.

In all fairness I believe the mackeys were married before the beasts were formed, so that was a known entity going in.

People make mistakes. Cas is human. Perhaps the depression discussion was superfluous, but Cas attempted to be open with fans and anyone else who would hear him out. Let's not judge him too harshly with preconceived notions of who he is as a person. He deserves the chance at redemption.

He put it on Twitter, where he is presumably followed exclusively by people who are interested in his life and career. I only saw his tweet because I intentionally opened a thread where I knew it would be provided.

You yourself would have never been exposed to his thoughts if you did not put forth effort to do so. Nothing is being forced on you. You opened a thread with a title that made the contents clear just so that you could complain about it.

Sorry for not keeping up to date on this, but what exactly was his transgression? That he dated a girl on the team? So what? If he dated a girl and then cheated on her, yeah that's wrong and unethical, but hardly grounds for disqualification from his team/sponsor. Unless there's some rule in the Brooks contract that says you can't cheat on your girlfriend, that's a very odd way of keeping personal and professional separate.

I read through the thread and all it mentions is that he may have dated a girl on the team and may have slept with someone else. So is it just speculation or was anything confirmed?
