He needs to pack his car and head back to Gags. Although, I suppose it's a little late for that now.

Just pay for it. It costs money to film a track meet, and $70 is not much for lots of good content. I prefer it because I don't spend tons of $$$ on cable so I don't have regular NBC. I'm enough of a track fan that I don't care to spend $70 to watch my favorite sport.
What other national championship is behind a paywall? I don't see the Super Bowl charging people 40 dollars to watch it. This sport needs as many free showings as possible to get new blood interested.
they got me. Im sick of trying to find some crappy free stream every week or two. I finally decided that if it were $6 per month to add to my tv package, i wouldn't have thought twice about it
Yes, the Super Bowl and all other sports are behind a $50/month cable paywall
Superbowl can still be watched with ye ol trusty bunny ears anteners.

It sucks that I can't see Montano preening to the crowd after her 2:21.

normally when you pay for cable you get all of the network's content. For example, you could watch the entire NHL playoffs on your computer. But here, you have to dish out an additional fee on top of your cable subscription

Perfect screen grab, Nick last shot at LRC, double flips of the bird, right atcha.
What happened to Arman Hall. 3rd place at 19, now last in his heat.
I'm not going to pay that much money to NBC unless they earn my trust. Not gonna pay just to get a commercial cut with two laps to go and such stunts they like to pull.

Right, there's probably 20 sites you can easily stream the Super Bowl for free, I've watched the NBA playoffs on YouTube even
People yell that cable is dead because "unbundling" is the future... yet right here in this thread we see people complaining and not wanting to spend $6 a month to watch their favorite sport is the exact reason why the "bundle" is not going to die for a long time.
free stream??? :):):):):):):)
The fact that it's behind a paywall with other niche sports like cycling and rugby tells you about the state of the sport and the ability to sell ads to track fans in the US.

I don't care what you want to pay for, but stop trying to destroy the free internet.

the "bundle" doesn't solve this problem. I can (and do) pay for cable, and I can watch almost all of NBC sports content on my computer. But not track and field - that's an extra $70. So buying the bundle doesn't help me a bit.

Also, there's a matter of fee excess, to those of us who have limited funds. I pay for cable, I also subscribe to Flotrack because of their coverage of college events, my true interest. I'd be willing to throw in, say an extra $30-40 to NBC--I know that that pro track is a niche sport. But $80 on top of all the other subscriptions is too much--I couldn't get my wife to support that. Its not the pay to view model I object to, its the pricing.
You guys are idiots... I'm sitting here watching a great stream with no commercials with a German IP and runnerspace+ for 11 dollars.
