So what do you think of Clinger's latest trend? 4:02 1600m relay split, and then 4:04 mile (losing to his teammate, who now has a better PR)? By my calculations that projects out to like 4:15.
Amazing prediction, you just be the second coming of calculo
Seriously though, all you fanboys need to realize Clinger isn't even the best guy on his team. He hasn't won a single race on the track that matters (please don't bring up Utah state champs.... yawn). He simply does not have the tools to win. He's reached his potential, and the sooner y'all accept that Patrick Parker is the guy Clinger wants to be, the sooner we'll have something to talk about.
Clinger won't run faster than 4:04. If he runs under 4:02, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WEJO BAN ME FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! If he breaks 4 tonight I will join the Mormon church and pay 10% of my income to them for the rest of my life. Hold me to it, brojos.
My money is on Cooper Teare, the guy who blitzed Clinger in the last 200m of the Arcadia 3200m. Clinger will be lucky to break into the top 5, but he will lose to Parker. Again.
Final prediction: Ed will turn Clinger into a sub-14 5k'er, but Clinger will never break 4 for the mile. Ever.
