Which athletes went for the full gender swap?
I guess it was only one reported case. "Andreas" was what happened to Heidi. Unbelievable Wikipedia page, E Germans were the "pioneers of systemic doping."

Andreas Krieger
Andreas Krieger, then known as Heidi Krieger, competed as a woman in the East German athletics team, winning the gold medal for shot put in the 1986 European Championships in Athletics.
From the age of 16 onward, Krieger was systematically doped with anabolic steroids, which have significant androgenic effects on the body. She had already had doubts about her gender identity, and the chemical changes resulting from the steroids only exacerbated them.[30] In 1997, some years after retirement, Krieger underwent sex reassignment surgery and changed his name to Andreas.
At the trial of Manfred Ewald, leader of the East German sports program and president of his East Germany's Olympic committee and Manfred Hoeppner, East German medical director in Berlin in 2000, Krieger testified that the drugs he had been given had contributed to his trans-sexuality.
I love how the NYT ignores Paula's doping because she's the dream girl of white liberals. They also claim her 2:15 is a WR--it's not--it's a world's best because she had male pacers. Mary Keitany just broker her WR, but nobody wants to acknowledge it because Paula pretends it didn't happen and she pretends that her 2:15 is actuall a WR. And neither Seb nor the press has the balls to correct.

Do you know who isn't the dream girl of 99.999999% of"white liberals"? Paula whatshername. Because they have never heard of her, and could not care less.

and why is it that you choose to ignore Keitany's doping? You butthurt types have such a tough life. It's ok, maybe someone soon will come along and better Paula's 2:15 WR and then you can feel better about yourself.

Subway Surfers Addiction wrote:This is a far better world record than 1:53, even I could easily do that when I was younger. No way I could have done 47.6 (and I could do 11.2/3h on grass).
With all the 22 flat 200's, 47.6 is not a big deal. Every 22 flat 200 woman should be capable of 2.2x or 48.40, just as a 20 flat man should be capable of 44.
That they can't, and are even less able to reach the true equivalent of a 50 flat (1:50) shows a clear gender difference due to the level of aggression and pure hate needed to hold form and effort over 400 or 800. This is why the "manly" women have such an advantage at 800 compared to the shorter sprints and longer distances. There are biological differences that show up more at 800m than any other event.
Theoretically you are correct. The old rule was double your 200m and add 4s so 22.00 should be 48.00 and there have been many women since the 1980s who have run sub 22 for 200m. But as time has passed and testing has cut back the volume of which they can dope, women have gotten slower. So in the 1980s 47s was run twice with many 48s times. In the 90s I think the Jose Perec and Kathy were the only sub 49s (???) Now sub 50s is elite for women. White women now struggle to run sub 51s or even sub 52s.

There is a significant difference between the two records. There is what most people accept as genuine documentary evidence that Koch took banned PEDs. There is nothing similar in the case of Kratochvilova. Her record might appear suspicious - but you can't ban someone or take a record away from them on the basis of suspicion alone. There has to be something more concrete before action along those lines can be taken.

Agreed. Kratch should be the correct 400m WR holder with her 47.99.

You think she looks like a guy in that picture? How about this one?
https://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp354/wholiganRogerPete/75RDTommy-PST-RD.jpgI mean, you have to admit, Semenya and even Wambui are less manly than this dude. I mean look at that picture. Weightlifting male sprinters would be envious of that body. It's amazing what steroids can do to a body.
Yes please!

Dump the pre 2005 records and at the same time fix the gender issues with races like the women's 800m.
If Semenya were on them 'roids, s/he'd be running 1:46.

Try to keep up. It's Mary, not Paula who has the WR.
Who doped more? Who knows...

971? So you are a fan of Medieval music?
I suspect the runner's voice was lower pitched than see me feel me. But falsetto does permit vocal high jinks.
What is up with LRC putting 1:53.38 under quote of the day? Baseball fans do not credit Babe Ruth with 713 home runs.
am i the only one that thinks universally taking away ALL world records set before 2005 is ridiculous?? If you cant come up with any evidence that she doped- she should keep her record. who cares if she "looks" like a man or is from an eastern bloc country! all of the evidence put forth by you fools is completely circumstantial and based upon superficial biases.
First, FloJo's records are the worst of all time. Second, it does nothing to erase the records as any new record will always have an asterick until the juiced record is pushed down the list a little and forgotten (i.e. Ben Johnson). No choice but to enjoy the race for what it is instead of always about what it compares to.
Yes, if the record holder is not of African decent erase it.
