You're misinterpreting this. Hirsch is running as hard as he can. He's a 10k guy and always has been. His mile PR wasn't sub-4:20 until this spring. Apparently his 400 PR is 59.
Who is the blonde handling the finish tape duty?
Incredibly enough, this was the first sub 9 minute HS "2 mile" this summer.
How is the wind/weather? The 400m was a bit slow too

Sorry when your HS 400m PR is 59, you are not a 10k guy. You are barely a marathoner. When is the last time that you saw a decent 10k where the last lap was not covered in less than 59?

Yes, you dolt!

I guess he should just quit running then.
Exactly. Seth will always be a solid runner, but he'll never win any race, or even place high for that matter. If you want to be an "elite" runner, you need to be able to run slow and close hard. Seth can only do one of those.

He could probably do marathons and ultras.
Anyone know why Sammy Watson wasn't running the girls 800? She was listed in the entries.

I think he is faster than 59 seconds for 400. He closed reasonably well to finish 4th at NXN and 3rd at Footlocker (almost 2nd). His speed will naturally improve as he matures and gets stronger, especially if his college coach works on it. Hirsch looks quite young for his age. I think he will place pretty high up in NCAA cross country next Fall.

She is competing at the New Balance Nationals this weekend. It is unfortunate that they scheduled that meet and the Brooks PR meet on the same weekend.
How did Brown do?
Second to Lorance, 1:50.98 to 1:51.01

The times have been disappointing until now.
Anyone know how its decided who wears what color singlet. Do the athletes get both and just pick the one they want? Are they given only one?
Brown led down the homestretch but Lorance had a good kick to win. Brandon miller also finished strong for 3rd in 1:51.98 I think.
This meet is almost always windy. The only time it wasn't was when it was in Shoreline.

Yes, the live results are not actually "live"
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
