Will they have a rabbit? Are there any HS boys disciplined and talented enough to rabbit them to a sub 4?
-
Sam wins , easy. Cooper has been injured, D.J. and Casey will fall just short, again.
-
Has there ever been two sub-4 high school guys in the same race before? Should be fun to see.
-
Awesome field! Good luck competitors! Don't worry about place, go for time here! Get after it and stay focused!

There is a rabbit. Nobody crazy fast. He's a 1:55 800m guy. I would guess that he tries to take them out in 1:58 or 1:59. -
Teare, Worley, and Principe will all likely go under 4. Not that that's news. Suliman, Parker, and Clinger could also potentially do it. Maybe even Fendel. After seeing Suliman in his workout wednesday on milesplit where he did 4x400m all under 60 and then hurt himself on another one, I don't think he will do it. He could go 4:02 though. Parker, Fendel, and Clinger could do it but it would be a bit of a stretch.

What's the status on Brody Hastey? Dude just ran 4:01 and looking pretty damn relaxed doing it.
-
Wait what happened to him

I was surprised no-one had said anything yet about Sulimans weird workout Wednesday anywhere on letsrun (at least that I found).
It was strange. If you haven't watched it go watch it.
And Idk if it's just me. But that workout didn't seem very impressive. Obviously I'm not nearly as fast as Suliman but I once did 5x400 averaging 57 pretty easily and I have only run 1:55/4:18. -
I hope dj isn't burned out... hopefully they have backed off a bit in training.
-
The workout was interesting, he was obviously battling injuries and does relatively low mileage but as his coach he has great natural speed so I predict he'll either go sub 4 or 4:04 as he's less consistent. Although I think he'll be the best in college with a good programme.
-
Teare broke kis toe!
Still ran 9:03 -
Im pretty sure that brodey hasty who is a 4:01.xx guy is going also. There are a bit of 4 flat guys and low 4:x0. Im guessing that 3 guys break or nobody breaks.

Nonsense. The Dew Mile will go down as the greatest HS race in history this July
-
That session was straight up stupid. Take an already hurt kid, run him hard in the rain in heavy shoes with ridiculous heel lift, and he blows up on the last rep. The worst workout I have ever seen at this level.

It does not look like there is a kerb on the track. I guess none of the times will count.
