Hopefully the 5k will be better, but there's no good video so I'm out of here

No- it is good that rojo is complaining about the camera work. He is somebody who might be able to actually get it changed eventually.
There are so many reasons you could make the race interesting after the winner crosses- like team points, all American status, team or personal rivalries, underdogs doing well- but instead we see a panting winner waking around in close up. Stupid stupid stupid.

There's a very good one. It's on ESPN. Turn your TV on.

10/10
Grant Holloway wins in a mediocre race - 13.49 seconds.
Then screams gibberish into the camera for 5 seconds.
Then they pay away and he screams something else unintelligible.
*They pan away

The wind is -2
He shouted out the area code of his hometown. Pretty funny.

"7-5-7" is probably his area code

You are kidding right? It was very clear what he said. He was yelling 757, which is his area code in Virginia.
To win as a freshman and score more than 20 points is sickening.
He's not great at the last 3 hurdles but man did he get a huge early lead.

Coleman destroys everyone. 10.04 into 2m/s+ headwind.

Anyone think he flinched at the start?
I'm famous for pointing out how Blake flinched when Bolt was DQd, but I thought in this case the Coleman flinched and thought he might get DQd for that. It looked to me like Coleman flinched. Either that or he just got a perfect start as he was out really fast.
Burrell had the best last 20 of anyone.

Can they really not turn these races around so we can see some fast times. Does Oregon really not have resources to do this at the NCAA championships?
Holloway's run worth 13.05-13.15 in my estimate if the race were flipped.
Coleman's worth a windy 9.81.
Now we get to watch 20.0x rather than see a collegiate record potentially go down.
Before you get upset about the time, please realize that a 10.02 into a 2.1 m/s wind is equivalent to a 9.89 with no wind.
On Wed, he ran a 9.82 with a 1.6 m/s tailwind which equates to a 9.88 with no wind.
So his race today was just as good as the other day basically.
Georgetown scores 12 points in the steeple to move into a tie for 7th. The Hoyas have a reputation for being Steeple U over the past few years. This was their best finish. Fahy finished 5th last year.
Is Fred Kerley stoned or am I?

Depends entirely on ambient temperatures
100m shoud be run in 95 / 100F for ideal clocking
Someone offer F right now to that in his 9.82..
Coleman 100 time is likely a clean world record cause the 5 guys in front of him are all dirty

A tie for 7th? Please. So what is Cornell in since they have 10?
As someone said to me, it's only a team competition for the top 5 or so teams. Get back to me if they finish 7th.
Can someone tell me why the TV producers are showing what happened in the 10k the other night? It has no bearing on what's going on now. I could understand if Cheserek is running but he's not. There are so many events today and so little time, I'd like to see them talk aobut the stuff happening today. Of course, since I don't trust them to do that well, maybe it's just as well.
