LIke umm you didn't get what s/he said. I mean, it's almost like that, if not totally.
THe big name not advancing in the 1500 was Kaela Edwards of Oklahoma State - the 2016 indoor mile champ - she just missed out. I know she wants to run pro and hope she gets picked up.
Our post-race interviews will be going to our youtube channel once we get time to upload them. You can access the channel here.

This Jill chick is rude.
Allie Ostrander is petite.

A big surprise, as she ran quite fast a number of weeks back (4:11?). However, she's been injured a lot, and maybe it has resulted in a lack of consistency.
She is very talented, with the required speed to compete with some big guns when fully fit. I hope she does get picked up, as she's got real potential.

Yes they did.
Is Allie the favorite to win the SC final? What does everyone think?
Sub 9:40 Saturday is an easy prediction, might take that to place.
Would you not consider Edwards a casualty?

However there are at least 5 who could win.

Unless there is an XY posing as XX in the final, it is Allie O all the way. The only 'cloud of doubt' here is that she's missed a lot of base work due to injury recently.
I still think her sheer grit and talent will win the day. She reminds me of Muir, and you've got to admire the spirit and toughness in her. I think she'll kill it.

some of those steeplers (schmelze especially) pushed it to the end trying to get that 9:50.00 USATF qualifier.
:
Interesting fact about schmelze, her HS teammate won the D3 steeple championship this year (erin herrmann). Both were part of the first sub 9:00 4x800 in IL history.
Lindon Victor needs a 4:44 in the 1500m (near-PR effort) to break the NCAA meet record for decathlon.
Anyone see that interview with LSU sprinter Aleia Hobbs?
All I can say without being too rude on so many levels is wow.
The two oregon girls didn't run well
The Oregon Woman have looked very shaky so far this meet. They may not pull off the team title at the rate they're going.
Who's that? wrote:
