Wow.
Monty, or is he erased for being on the very, very naughty sauce?

He's the favorite for World CHampionship gold in my mind!!
Aren't you a sports journalist or something?
Gatlin ran 9.74 about this time of year in 2015 and Bolt did the job anyway.
How can you bet that Coleman will beat the man who ran 9.58 and has beaten every 9.6/9.7 100m man ever, because he ran a 9.82?
9.7 times are nothing for Bolt.
Bolt is retiring because he has done everything he wants to in track. Not because he is old and slow.

it wasn't a hot day & he didn't run flat-out to line with not even a dip !
flat-out on a hot day that wouda been ~ 9.7-flat
how many times has blake ever run faster than that ???
Don't be ridiculous. Blake and Bolt don't need to contest with made up times. Blake ran 9.69 so he actually bettered your totally made up 9.70 time, in real life.
Blake's 9.69 was into a -0.1 also. So that makes it more like a 9.63/9.64 with the wind Coleman had.
Essentially you are taking a 9.82 with a 1.3m/s wind and saying that it is as good as Blake who ran 9.69 into a -0.1. Why do you even post here?
What's more, how many times has Blake beaten Bolt in a major champs....

With 9.93, Cameron Burrell joins his father Leroy Burrell (9.92?) in the low 9.90s. That has surely never happened before, right?
Seriously? Leroy Burrell held the world record at 9.85.
I hope Coleman is clean but he does for and $EC cheat team and well the $EC loves to cheat with roids paying for recruits, etc. Now if Coleman was at say L$U then you know he was on roids.
Did rojo seriously hijack this thread? WTF?!
Not Lolo, surely not.

Negative. You run below 10s you are doping. End of story. If it could be done naturally more people would be running sub 10s. Cmon people do your research.

He looks to be a force to be reckoned with at World's now. I wouldn't go so far as to say that he should be favored over Bolt but the latter is going to have to be in good shape this time.
He will run 9.9mid in the final.
Or barely 10s ... I think it is supposed to be raining

He certainly eased up in the last 5-10m and didn't dip ... but there's no way that would have been 9.70. I'd say 9.75 at best. He won't run faster than his semi time in the final. It'll be interesting to see what he can do later on this summer ... 9.70 is a world away from 9.82

Do you know the meaning of a question mark?
Burrell set two world records, at 9.90, beaten by Lewis soon after, and then 9.85 later, which I had forgotten. He also jumped 8.37m-27' 5 1/2" in college.

The sauce took down those crazy fast times. 9.92 is his official best.

Why just make stuff up?
Your typical Ivy League math/physics grad is about as good at math as the Brojos are at spelling and grammar. If you want a competent mathematician you'll have to use a UC grad.

You predicted he would run 9.7x. He ran 9.8x. I guess it is you who should be surprised?
Anyway, I don't think anybody is too surprised, he was expected by everybody to go well sub 10. 9.7x would have surprised everybody except you, though. Just admit you were wrong for the prelims, we'll see if you were right after the finals.
