Everyone knows the 100m starting line at HHF is a couple of meters short.

He had the race won in the first 5 steps. That was awesome.
Wow, really going out on a limb there...after the fact;)

He's the favorite for World CHampionship gold in my mind!!
Impressed easily, are you. wrote:

Your mind, tricks are playing. + 1.3 wind, there was. Warming up only yet, Yohan and Usain are.
Yoda, is that you?
The kid is only a junior.
About time for a HBCU sprinter to show up. Talking Belcher from NCA&T.
King from Oregon, Burrell, his injured teammate Thompson (who beat him at league) this Bacon kid from Ark St. Gives the USA some young legs. Not that Ronnie Baker is old or Trayvon Bromell, Gatlin is old.
I see a 9.95/19.95 weekend for Coleman.
When will America get the raw foods vegan sprint champion that is desperately needs?

How many NCAA sprinters have ran...
Sub 6.46, 9.85, 20.00..........?
And guess what? He's clean as a whistle!!! Unlike those dirty Jamaican cheats who don't have to go through year round testing and protected by iaaf goons! Even Coleman's dad and family friends can vow for him that is clean and all talent and hardwork and truly blessed by GOD!!!
As you can see, I'm being a bit sarcastic, which is a huge understatement. 4th fastest time of all USA sprinters? I'm not much of a gambler, but if there's one thing I'm willing to roll the dice is being a "tad" bit slower than Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin doesn't inspire much confidence.
But then again he's American and American athletes are all clean, unlike the rest of world,
He could be snorting TNT, who cares? If they are ALL dirty anyway then we still have a level playing field, right?
Don't you guys ever get bored with....they're all dirty......? So what big damn deal. Who doesn't cheat?
more likely the wind than the dope... though the dope's probably there. Have these guys run anywhere near as fast elsewhere?

Nope. Dope favors high responders and those willing to push the pharma farther.
That said, I am starting to wonder about the accusations of Hayward's track or wind gauge being "juiced".

is that a joke ???
it wasn't a hot day & he didn't run flat-out to line with not even a dip !
flat-out on a hot day that wouda been ~ 9.7-flat
how many times has blake ever run faster than that ???

err...
you think that eugene haven't got the dough to buy a few hundred buck wind-gauge in past decade ???
most of time the problem is if the wind is over 2m/s for good sprints/lj/tj
that coud just as easily have been a 9.76 with a +2.5 & no one wouda cared, but thankfully it wasn't over 2
this wind talk will end forever within coupla years
$68 million says so
that is amount being spent to revamp stadium, likely making it an enclosed one & this will kill off the wind to maximum of about 0.5m/s by the time the job is done

I'm working on it. Maybe as soon as next season.

It's not how good the gauge is, it's where they put it. My hypothesis is it's windier on the track than on the infield where they set the gauge, because of the way the west wind gets channeled south by the west stands. The WNW wind moving past the south edge of the stands creates a pressure gradient causing air above the track to rush southward, and the wind passing the north end rushes south to replace the air on the track, and so forth. This creates an air current that is strong near the stands but weaker on the field, as the "draft" from the stands that causes it doesn't reach that far.
If scientists can analyze Kipchoge's windbreak, they can study the Hayward west stand windbreak too.

A bunch of people you've probably never heard of.

i have no idea what this goobledegook is supposed to mean
we are only interested in vector component of wind in direction of straight, no interest what right angle vector wind
iaaf have standard placement :
no more than 2m from track & 50m from finish line
if you don't think there are not enough competent ivy league math/physics graduates in ncaa to be able to place gauge according to those specs, well then...
