Still jogging. These races are always the worst.
None of that fast hard racing nonsense... but REAL racing... really really slow... like this!!!!
/ sarcasm
I agree with you.
1 1/2 laps Scott & 19 others still there!
Well we didn't miss anything. 600 to go and still pretty much jogging.
Some white guy blows everyone away. What a terrible race.
Petersen,Scott 1 to go, Chelanga done, Scott (Tulsa) goes 200 meters out & he's gone, BYU Linkletter 2nd,

I'm not a 'sprints guy', but 100/200 action blew away the 800/10000 tonight (I missed 1500, couldn't bring it up on ESPNU)
why so slow?
I guess everyone had a Tempo scheduled for today and not a race.

I guess all 28 guys agreed prerace, maybe they all wanted to get some air time on ESPN national TV? But that plan backfired. ESPN was on to them early and just showed field action & tons of commercials Brilliant!
What the !!! Kerley (43.97) just anchored A & M to under 3:00 in 4 X 400
Terrible race. Why did everyone run so slow? Ok. State had someone run 30:43 and DNF..smh
Don't worry. With Vincent Kiprop next year every distance event will be fast. Hopefully.
Almaz Ayana's 29:17.45 would have placed her 12th in this year's D1 mens 10000m lol
Maybe everyone forgot that Ches wasn't in the race and thought they had to go slow to let him win again.
belcher just misses out on becoming 9th guy to < 10 / < 20 on same day
he might get that double later in meet
neethaneeel may join him...
Does no one understand the concept of a tactical race? Those boys weren't out there to break records, they were out there to compete against one another. Sorry they forgot that they were supposed to entertain you're lazy butt.

People need to stop substituting "tactical" for "slow." Just because a bunch of runners are too afraid to run fast doesn't make it tactical. It just makes it boring.
No wonder no one wants to watch that garbage. I'd take long jump coverage during the 10k any day.
King Ches would have smoked Marc Scott had he been in that race. Honestly the NCAA should just do away with NCAA regionals and just have the top 24 in each event after each team Conference meet make it to Eugene.
