I saw the post on miling in the US. Had to laugh a little because I don't believe we have but Berryhill and Krumenacher that can sniff the international scene. Yes all those guys can win US Champs (if Krum's not running), but I feel that's more a showing of mediocrity than depth. The steeple is where it is at. It's obvious Broe is going to take the Mark Davis route and steeple. The young guys are going to be sub-8:15 this year. This includes Fam, Slattery, Watson, and Lincoln. Ray Hughes is always a threat and Dobert was extremely dominant and I hear he is training with Kennedy again out in New Mexico. Throw in the duo of Croghan (ran 8:11 two years ago) and Gary who I hear looked awesome at cross this weekend. We'll have three under 8:20 at US Champs and 2 will make the final of the World Champs. No American will make it out of the first round at Worlds in the mile, 5k, or 10k!
