Unless you're going to put any actual information into that know nothing post, I'm going to assume that you are just a troll not worth further response.

That's what people do when they are defeated. Ludd is a Leftist Looney Toon and Obama was awful...get your facts straight moron.

Ha!!!! He had the lowest GDP of any president. He is the only president to ever be below 3%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He averaged less than 1.5% and was worse than Jimmy Carter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!No clue who you are, but you're definitely not very bright and probably don't even know what GDP even stands for. You have my pity.

So, a very good runner dies on a training run and you guys turn the thread into a stupid political post. Nice going. Show some respect, please.
Agreed, clearly these people can't contain their political disagreements even during tragedies such as this. Welcome to Letsrun.
Hey tough guy, I have respect. I posted ONCE and stated a fact to put a Lying Liberal in his place. Look at the person who started it and address them, not me. If you gotta problem with that, look me up, I live in D.C.

Two or three out of how many hundreds of runners, over the course of how many years? It's not exactly unheard of for seemingly healthy people to die unexpectedly whilst exercising.
Yeah, even in America! Like Lenny Bias!!
Let's eulogize David and not be controversialist in his death with performance ergogenic aids. RIP the most promising athlete of his young career.
As I said grow up and have respect for the dead. Your comments are not funny.
This thread could use a heavy dose of moderation.
They are NOT meant to be funny! Where was I trying to be funny, please share. You see the first political comment, you say nothing, then you pick on mine because of your own political agenda. I can respond to whatever I want toughguy, you're not stopping me. The death of Kiprotich is sad, but I never said one negative thing about him and feel for him and his family, whether you believe that or not, I don't care, I'm not longing for your approval. I chose to respond to something political that wasn't deleted and you didn't like it. Oh well, look me up and threaten me in person big guy, I'm not afraid and have done nothing wrong on this thread.

Well done idiot, you've now guaranteed that it's going to continue with the political posts, so please, just STFU and don't encourage them like you've just done to me.
Too much running at high intensity will kill you. This has been coming to light for last 3 years or so already.
It is easy to look at the surface. Obama was a smooth talker who accomplished nothing and furthered corporate corruption. Stop getting all your information from CNN
The problem is that the dangerous stuff is not detectable. When my Cardiologist told me (at age 17) that I had a heart murmur, I thought my athletic days were finished. Hardly (I'm 41 now). Undetectable, in the sense that they usually only find out after they perform a post mortem....

If it wasn't a pre-existing or undiagnosed condition, I fear too many athletes could be pushing themselves too hard during training. Especially in places like Kenya where there's lack of equipment to detect potential risks.
Hopefully we'll get eight years of Trump and then we'll be able to do a true comparison.

I have a heart murmur that was first detected in infancy. It has been detected every subsequent physical throughout my life. One doctor had me lie on my side for a stethoscope reading then said the murmur was nothing to worry about. I did quite a bit of high mileage along with high intensity running and core work. Started getting serious again about training in my mid-50s. What's the diagnosis LRC Docs, should I be concerned? My recent training has greatly lowered my blood pressure and pulse, back down to healthy levels where they haven't been for years.

Yes. David is apparently running Carlsbad this weekend. Somebody else died apparently.

As you know, some Kenyans are from coastal sea level towns. Do you know if David Kiprotich was born and raised at altitude? Was Kiprotich born and raised at a low altitude town?

We need to figure out who exactly this news is referring to. We've gone multiple pages now and still have no concrete answer, and claiming a specific person without being sure is slightly disrespectful.
