I see a very clear lack of Geneseo in that list, and on this thread. I know you Midwesterners love to hate the Atlantic, but Geneseo is at least a top 8 team next year if not a podium contender.

Everyone hating on the Atlantic region because they stole all the bids last year. That being said, most of the teams that made it from the region graduate most kids so look for 3 teams this year instead of 6

It seems that certain teams and regions always seem to get ripped on in these threads, like the Atlantic, Southern, Lacrosse, MIT, Loras, etc.

CNU will finish in the top 5..have a great lineup of runners 3-4 running sub 15 on nearing sub 14:30 type stuff. I mentioned last year I thought they could be a top ten finisher .. they came in 11th..

So you freely admit that you over-hyped CNU last year, and now we're supposed to believe you that a team from the South region is going to finish in the top 5 this year? Aren't they in the middle of changing coaches?

is actually from Loras, but as soon as anybody hypes any school they are bound to get backlash. Same thing with "Tufts Dad" or Patrick Treacy from last years thread. It's a tried and true method to get responses, works like a charm!

Yeh because the midwest will be taking 7-8 this year again. They sent 4 mens teams from midwest last year (Really, only 4?) And they all placed top 6 as teams, despite Schultz imploding. With a health Schultz, midwest goes 1-2 on the team podium

Midwest sent 4 teams last year because the 5th place team at regionals was over 60 points behind 4th...at regionals. Just because your top 4 are good doesn't mean there is depth after that

I agree with some of your sentiment, but to simply suggest getting the automatic bid out of the midwest is a bit naive. There have been numerous podium finishers at nationals that were not top two in the midwest simply because the midwest would produce the top 3 or 4 teams in the country in a particular year.

Loras at nationals? You guys historically suck! The only thing more embarrassing than your mascot is your ability to get position at nationals. I get it though, you guys like it in the rear. I'm not judging. PS the central region was weaker than the south last year. Keep those heads up boys!
