Yeah, definitely 0/10 for Troll-boy Bullet_Proof. If he/she is referring to posts on LR then he/she needs to reconsider the new rule, because it's not slanderous.

Help a curious poster out. What qualifies as evidence?
Sworn testimony?
Medical waste found in a trash can?
Give us some specifics.

Nothing counts in the minds of NOP fanboys and Nike/NOP shills. They are like the mothers of convicted murders (DNA plus video evidence of the crime). Their baby didn't do it. NOP fanboys have blinders they permanently stapled to their own heads.
What I think you know, but are unwilling to say is this: Nike's entire existence, from its beginning, has depended upon illicit chemical aids. Every big name athlete who has built its brand was doped. Every. One.

They gave the entire 100 mL bags. They administered 1 to 4 bags. They did not administer 14 mL or 15 mL ( = 3,000 mg of L-carnitine) because that dose does not raise plasma carnitine concentrations from under 100 micromol/L to 2000 micromol/L after the IV infusion of L-carnitine.
The IV infusion had a duration of over 1 hour.
Even though L-carnitine is available in the US as pills or powder for oral use, all L-carnitine for intravenous injection or infusion is a prescription drug.
The idea for the L-carnitine infusions came from Alberto Salazar and not from Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown just does what Alberto tells him to do…and he is paid by someone (Nike?) to see all the NOP athletes.
Coach Alberto has played doctor and practiced medicine without a license on many occasions.
He has dispensed the prescription NSAID drug Celebrex to athletes without a prescription for Celebrex, which is illegal because Alberto is not a doctor or a pharmacy.
He has had Mo Farah, Dathan Ritzenhein and other runners on the prescription drug calcitonin…until Pete Julian found out that it might increase cancer risk. Whoops. Then the athletes were told to stop taking calcitonin…after Ritzenhein had already been on it for 4 years.
Alberto Salazar dispensed the schedule III controlled substance and prescription drug Androgel (testosterone gel) to his 2 experimental subjects (his 2 sons) when he did the "Possible Galen Rupp Sabotage with Androgel Experiments" with measurement of testosterone/epitestosterone (T/E) levels to see what amount would trigger a positive doping test. That is against various federal and state drug laws because Alberto is not a doctor or pharmacy and neither of his 2 sons had a prescription for Androgel. It is illegal to dispense a schedule III controlled substance and prescription drug Androgel to any person who does not have a prescription for Androgel.
Alberto Salazar has also emailed Galen Rupp and told Galen to increase his dose of the prescription thyroid hormone drug Levoxyl (T4) and to start on the prescription drug Cytomel (T3) right away. He then offers to drive the prescription thyroid hormone drug Cytomel over to Galen.
Alberto Salazar is coach, doctor and pharmacy all in one.
In a Dec. 20, 2011, email to Rupp, he wrote: "Take a full extra Levoxyl tonight and start on Cytomel right away. P.S. I've got Cytomel. If you don't have it, call me and I'll drive it over."
http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/is-nike-covering-up-dubious-practices-of-runners-a-1137229.htmlAlberto Salazar should not be "playing doctor" with Galen Rupp by telling him to increase his dose of Levoxyl and to start Cytomel.
Coach Alberto Salazar should also not act like a pharmacy delivery service for Galen Rupp.
In conclusion:
1) Coach Alberto Salazar is not a doctor or a pharmacy and needs to be STOPPED.
2) Hey Ken Goe and Alberto.
3) Are you having fun now???

Definition of Slander, (from dictionary.com): make false and damaging statements about someone.
How can I sit back and watch arguments on this thread claim that Galen cheated when they are false? Do you really believe that a dietary supplement, even infusing it, is cheating? Really? You're going to claim that it generates the same degree of athletic performance enhancement as EPO? Or any other strong PED?
And if you say yes, the next question is, do you really believe Galen should be stripped of his 2012 silver medal?
When you say those statements out loud, you realize how big of claims those are. That is why I created the new rule. And hallelujah that I did! Because without some oversight, the hater trolls like Cap Gun Girl on this thread are going to get out of hand.
By the way: my argument is more authentic and positive than the hater arguments. At the core of my argument is the OPTIMISTIC belief that people can achieve greatness through grit. Perseverance. Diligence. I choose to believe that people are innately good and do the right thing. (Obviously there is war in parts of the world, but since there's 7 billion people I would argue that most of us want to get along). I choose to believe that Galen trained hard and got lucky in the genetic pool. And how about 15 years of focus? Can we fathom how good someone can get in their field after 15 years of pure focus?
Here's what you'll say: "man, Bullet_Proof is a blind follower." You'll curse the skies anytime any good runner runs well. Remember what Kara Goucher said after that race on June 28th 2015? "I want my son to believe in the sport and the system." Let me ask you this question: How can he believe if all she does, and all of the pessimistic folks out there do, is teach us to doubt everything we see? It's hard to believe in something when we're taught to doubt everything we see.
How can we believe in the sport if we all doubt every single inspiring athletic performance? Is that the road you all want to go down? Haile Gebrselassie. Paul Tergat. Sammy Wanjiru. Eluid Kipchoge. Kenenisa Bekele. At some point in time all of those runners DOMINATED the competition. Are you really going to say that they all cheated? Or are you going to pick and choose who cheated based on your own insecurities and biases? People don't like Galen because he doesn't have the charismatic personality like the Rock Dwayne Johnson or Arnold, so they are more likely to think he cheated. (What's even more ironic is that people like the Rock probably did take steroids and people forgive them because their personality is so magnetic). Don't you have the slightest bit of emotion running through your veins when you watch Haile set the World Record in the Marathon in Berlin in 2008? No, what you're going to do is bring superhuman performances back down to the pessimistic mortal realm. And ruin it for the little kid inside all of us who believes in heroes.
For the people who care about running, and I hope we at least agree on that...that the sport of running is exciting and makes our lives worthwhile, I would argue it's always better to believe people earned their spot on the podium fairly than to be suspicious of every first placer. Because those latter arguments will foster a community of paranoia, distrust, and angst.
Think about your own running career. When you started to train seriously, did you say to yourself, "I want to be the best mediocre runner the world has ever seen!"? I hope not. I hope you were inspired, like me, by the people at the top. When Kenenisia saw Haile, he cemented his north star. Don't underestimate the power of heroes. What about for you? Do none of you get inspired by the top American runners? Ryan Hall. Bob Kennedy. Ritz. Webb. Rupp. Manzano. German Fernandez. Franklyn Sanchez. Or on the ladies side? Joan Benoit Samuelson. Deena Kastor. Molly Huddle. Emma Coburn. Shalane. Heck, even Kara Goucher.
I say, tap into your empathy and emotion more. If you don't the next time you're out on the track and it starts to get hard, the cold analytical thinking and "fairness" thinking that you're doing now will not push you to the next level. It's emotion my friends. For once, it's cool to be "emo".
Look, I understand that I'm defending the indefensible, I'm taking the difficult position and going against the current, but I'm holding out until we find video evidence of doping. Or a failed drug test. Or some hard evidence, as I alluded to in my earlier post. Not supplements, not the impassioned testimony of Kara or the jealous tone of the brojos. Until then, I believe they are clean.
"But I tried, didn't I, godda_m*t, at least I did that"
Wanna Talk, just looked up both numbers...haha, never noticed that before, you're very correct about that. Funny I got a random note from the drummer I met that night we watched blues at the Iridium. i think he's touring with Joe Louis Walker right now. fyi, that girl is married now...yes, I kinda missed the boat on that one :(
To RoJo, (and adding to "canspo"), they could have easily increased the concentration of the bag and simply slowed the drip rate so that only 49.9ml's were administered. Is it likely? of course not, but is IS possible, so it can't simply be ignored, because it's NOT impossible.
As Canspo notes, the issue of calling the 50ml infusion q 1hr a "practical impossibility" is 100% false and calls into question either the nyt article, the usada report, or both. I can do 50ml/hr or less on macro tubing, no problem (off the top of my head, that'd be about 8.333gtts/min), and it's much easier with micro tubing (such as 60gtt/ml tubing).
Finally, I think it looks pretty rough for AS...but, the tactic of trying him in the court of public opinion, especially with added errors/falsehoods, makes usada look pretty poor as well, perhaps equally so since they are supposed to be the ones beyond reproach.
I've zero doubt there are more than a couple completely clean athletes on the OPJ. Is everyone? who knows but I just don't see how leaking/"losing" information into the public realm every so often, without actually charging AS or his athletes, does anyone a service.
