Oh to be young and fast and have a big shoe conglomerate offer you way too much money before you know what it all means.
Lipsey rather easily, Watson the H.S. girl 3rd?
Go adidas!
Charlene Lipsey dominated the 800. Basically nothing happened for 700 meters and then she just pulled away.
HS Sammy Watson lowered her pb from 2:01.78 (indoors) to 2:01.47.

Lipsey was too strong over the last 100m. She was composed the whole time.
Watson is scary good, after Texas a and m's recent success with 800m runners, she could possibly break 2 next year.

Gosh I'm pulling for her. Classy of NBC to give her a moment on camera after the race. Made my eyes water though.

What an inspiration. She revealed post-race that her cancer doesn't have a cure.
"I’m a professional runner . I’m a four-time cancer survivor and still in the fight. A lot of rare cancers out there that don’t have cures and mine is one of them. I’m hoping I can just find some treatment that can help me out."
