Old news. If you truly are a track fan, you should have heard of Greene back when he was a freshman... I heard of him and I don"t live in Colorado. You guys are called "johnny come lately s.

Not sure why everyone thinks he will do the decathlon or triathlon.
He says he wants to do the steeple which is perfectly for a strong runner who can jump.

He ran 4:12 for 1600 in Colorado just a week ago which is inherently better than his 4:09 at Arcadia. Dude's a beast! Kinda reminds me of Solinsky.
Yeah he's big. He looks a bit bigger in pics and in video than in person. He's lean and muscular so he looks like a tank compared to most middle distance guys. Just one of those big dudes who can run, like McMullen (who was even bigger) back in the day. He reminds me of Solinsky too.
No WAY he weighs 193. I am a triathlete, and have much bigger shoulder and lats than he does. My legs are also more muscular from cycling. I weigh 170 lbs. I bet 1000$ he does not weigh 193. He sure is ripped for a runner however.

Then why didn’t you start a thread on him back then? ðŸ˜. Newsflash: He's getting so much attention now because of his 4-event sweep at state. And it's not everyday that a runner in Colorado gets a D-1 offer to a Pac-12 school.
Took your advice and looked up some other articles. One estimates him at 185 in March of this year. And one states that he is over 170. Thanks I didn't have anything to cite my point with. I appreciate it.
Why's it called lewis-ville and not louie-ville?

You better be careful with that kind of bet, Green himself might come on LRC and collect big time.

Same reason some people call Boulder..."Boolder" 😉
Damn, have fun trying to fight for lane position with this dude. Oh, you want the inside? Here's my wallet too, please don't hurt me.
Big dude. Less than impressed with his improvement since freshman year. Hopefully Metcalf can shave some of that baby fat off him, because he's a big strong kid.
This is what 6'2" 185 looks like.

Because it was named after Louis Nawatny and not King Louis XVI.

False. Need to be light to run the steeplechase. See: Kemboi, Kipruto, Jager, etc.
McMullen, Letsrun's other favorite giant. He's listed multiple places as 165. People just don't have an accurate sense of how scrawny most elite runners are and how massive 193 pounds would be for a really fit athlete.

I just finished college, ran my PRs (15:20, 25:25) when I cut down from 190 to 175; I'm 6'2. I firmly believe this dude could be 190 with his build and at that height, and I further believe that when they make him cut some weight in college he will make massive improvements.
Now, to get my popcorn and keep watching you kids do violence to language and logic ...

Those dudes are gazelles!
